Star - Trek

31 October, 1975

Well, let’s leave this place upon the earth,
It’s about time we started another birth,
We will go tripping across outer space,
Even though I don’t like the open space,
I don’t mind if you bring some friends,
I only want you as my friend,
I only love you as you are,
A beauty star that you are.

We’ll start tomorrow at the start of dawn,
So get some sleep or you’ll be to worn,
We’ve got to trek across outer space,
So don’t take to much luggage or it will fill the space,
We’ve got a star ship that’s falling to bits,
Short of space to store our kits,
I don’t mind ‘cause I’ve got you near,
So get some cloth and wipe that tear.

I really love you and that’s a fact,
Even more than this ship I’ve backed,
I’ll never leave you, never at all,
In fact we should have a fantastic ball,
Soon we will be past that ancient Mars,
And on our way to the distant stars,
Soon we’ll be on our own, forever at last,
Soon we’ll be on our own, forever at last.
