Autumn Change

24 October, 2013

Hanging, waiting, thinking
Flecks of brown, sinking
Floating, from freckled arms
Blue sky, speaking psalms
Sun lovers, faces seeking

Scent, croissants, crispy bun
A book, first turned, now nearly done
Dried nero stain, in forgotten mug
Time, trickling, fading, smug
Waiting, for the end, for the tears

A night, like any other
A day, like any other
A day, end or start, life another
Twelve weeks, perhaps or gone
Question, to be or be done

A call, last hour, to decide, life or death
Freedom or surf, vamp or birth
Run for time, not knowing or know
Run to the mother, to the other town show
To meet, to talk, in Berlin’s child richest streets

A place, to set, for ever and yet
Coffee, kids stuff, a sign, you bet
10 minutes for yes
10 minutes for no
10 minutes for words to dance the yo-yo
To feel if they fit or feel all shit

10 minutes too late
For the gate
12 weeks to decide
Or hide
No real answer, no real plan
No time left for the ban

Seasons
It’s life
Autumn
It’s change
Harvesting the good
Winter
It’s strength, saving, understood
The spring,
Fostering life, cue
Abundance, joy, a new
