I want to take you in my arms, Hold you there with my own palms, So you could never get free. For only you have the key to my existence, ‘Will you keep it sacred’, said he, As he fell into the abyss of love. High regards I have of you, I hope that you’ll keep them clean and true, By staying fully with me. For only you are the key to my existence, ‘I manage’, said she, As she walked successfully through life.
Sitting all alone in the box of my body, With rivulets of thoughts sliding down The bare walls of my mind, Meeting and coalescing into a pattern Of life and experience, That bursts into a living stream of energy, Motivating the conglomerate of cells Which is called my body. I’m alone. The outside world is within and the outside World is - not in. A paradox in philosophy - so clear yet meaningless, I’m alone - since I am one enclosed entity.
I walk along the street so quiet, With passers by, trudging on, Through the slush, so wet and cold, I make my way, and then upon A word from a stranger, dark and near, The shadows encroaching like a spear. I turn around to face my foe, Only to find a girl I know, With a single tear upon her cheek Standing alone among the meek. Her soul came out and grabbed my heart, Her loving fingers threw me apart, And with a roar we merged together, My mind a t’whirling like a feather.
Well, let’s leave this place upon the earth, It’s about time we started another birth, We will go tripping across outer space, Even though I don’t like the open space, I don’t mind if you bring some friends, I only want you as my friend, I only love you as you are, A beauty star that you are. We’ll start tomorrow at the start of dawn, So get some sleep or you’ll be to worn, We’ve got to trek across outer space, So don’t take to much luggage or it will fill the space, We’ve got a star ship that’s falling to bits, Short of space to store our kits, I don’t mind ‘cause I’ve got you near, So get some cloth and wipe that tear.
